Product Warranty
- All software is warranted to function as specified for a period of 90 days after shipment. Any non-conformance to the specification found within this period will be corrected free of charge. If the software delivered hereunder does not meet the foregoing warranty, Purchaser shall promptly notify DASTEC, which shall thereupon cause to be corrected, at DASTEC's expense, any defective design or anomaly within the software. The liability of DASTEC under this warranty, whether the claim is based on contract or negligence, shall not in any case exceed the cost of correcting defects in the software as herein provided and upon the expiration of the warranty period all such liability shall terminate. The foregoing warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties (except as to title), where written, oral, implied or statutory.
Annual Software Maintenance (ASM) Contracts (Available for Windows 32-bit OS Platforms ONLY)
- Purchased at time of product purchase : 15% of current list price, 20% for international
- Renewal purchase : same as original purchase
- Purchased after initial sale may require upgrading first to current software version
- ASM discounts are 10% for distributors and 5% for OEMs, VARs and integrators

Product Upgrades
- Free for software covered under an active ASM contract
- Free within standard 90 day product warranty
- After 90 days and less than 18 months from original date of purchase upgrade cost is 25% of current list
- After 18 months from original date of purchase upgrade cost is 50% of current list
- Upgrade discounts are the same as product discounts
Operating System Transfers (move licensed product to new OS)
- 50% trade in credit on existing license to transfer to a new operating system.
- Upgrade discounts are the same as product discounts
Other
- Authorized, pre FactoryLink 7.X products, cannot be deinstalled and reinstalled to a different FactoryLink serial number except with confirmed FactoryLink system trade in. No exceptions.
- Cost for individual hardware keys for old product versions is $100 (if still available, no discounts)
- Multi-license purchases for large quantities available.
Payment terms
- Terms determined after credit review for first time customers
- Net 30 days for USA distributors and prior customers with on-time payment history
- Pre-pay for customers with poor payment history
